Lightbulb Time

A very simple feature to add to GW but i would really like to have the time shown on the screen, could be as an optional window in "edit layout" menu...

as in real world time? They could spend their time on better things. If you HAVE to see the time, play windowed mode and look in the bottom right at your clock.
(or buy a $5 walmart watch and tape it to your moniter)

That was a little harsh I think...

I actually like the idea, GW doesnt play too well when it's windowed on my pc, and I often loose track of time. So, yes, it would be nice to have a little clock on my screen. Sure it wouldn't take much to implement...

The majority of people have some sort of clock within the room that their computer is in...

*looks down at wrist* Oh look... a watch... *turns around and looks towards the bed* An alarm clock...

Not too hard to actually move once in a while.

Agree that most people who want to know the time have a clock nearby. No .... it wouldn't hurt anything, but I just think it is not needed.

I've been using the "you've been playing for X hours" message to let me know what time it is, I just have to note what time I started playing. I do drop into window mode occasionally to check the time, though.

Wouldn't mind a /time emote that returned the current time in GMT. I'd think an emote would be much easier to implement than an additional UI widget. Maybe your char could even look at its wrist when you do it! Yeah, I know, the /time animation would take more time than the UI widget...

The in game nanny is enough for me and I mainly play in windowed mode. I also own a watch and an alarm clock.
